What SuperFreakonomics Has to Say About Global Warming

Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner recently released a sequel to their best selling book Freakonomics entitled what else but SuperFreakonomics. The last chapter in the book “What do Al Gore and Mount Pinatubo have in common?” explores the setbacks inherent to all global warming and climate change models as well as the erroneous assumptions presented to the public as scare tactics.

The authors explain, in a clear well-articulated manner, that there is no way anyone can, with any certainty, predict what the future has in store for us because the science is so complex and every climate model in existence today is seriously crippled. What this essentially means is that the one who can yell the loudest will be heard, and we all know who has been screaming at the top of his lungs over past few years...
