Republicans Win Big

Issues:

Republican Party of Texas - We all know that Republicans won big on Tuesday night and it’s not by accident. The grassroots support from across the state made millions of phone calls and knocked on hundreds of thousands of doors. And while we suspected we were going to win, we didn’t realize it would be by such big margins.

The entire state is now an even deeper shade of red, which means we Texans get to enjoy prosperity and liberty

October Unemployment Report

Issues:

This morning the Department of Labor released the October jobs report. While I am always pleased to hear that some people were able to find employment, this week people across the nation made it very clear they are frustrated with the status quo and upset with the direction of our economy and the slow job growth that has come with it. Americans knows that there is still much more work to be done to ensure that all individuals have the opportunities to find good-paying, full-time jobs. Read more about October Unemployment Report

TEXAS REMAINS RED – Battleground Texas turns Livid!

Issues:

Conservatism is not dead in Texas! How fantastic is it that Texas remained RED in spite of the fact that Battleground Texas worked so hard to defeat the Republicans, to erase our Conservative Values. After twelve years of Governor Rick Perry, Texas remained strong and reelected another Republican, Greg Abbott, who defeated Abortion Wendy Davis statewide with a devastating blow of 59.28% to her weak 38.88%. Abbott said, “Whether you voted for me, against me or didn’t vote at all, I’m going to work every single day to keep Texas the best state in the United States of America.” And no matter how hard Davis tried to hide her abortion agenda she just never got away from it. In fact, Davis did not even win Liberal Bexar County, Abbot 49.74% to her 48.42%. Read more about TEXAS REMAINS RED – Battleground Texas turns Livid!

Hispanic Republicans of Texas Performance Review

Issues:

When Battleground Texas started up, we heard a lot about how the booming Hispanic population in Texas was going to turn this state blue. On election night, Texas Republicans and HRT hit Democrats with the biggest reality check in years!

Thanks to your support, the Hispanic Republicans of Texas PAC recruited and encouraged candidates across the state to run for office and endorsed over 40 candidates for various offices. Last night over 70% of those supported by HRT won, including three candidates in state house districts where over 2/3 of the population is Hispanic.

Houston...We Do Have A Problem Here

Issues:

Well, here we are in another fine mess down here in The Republic of Texas. Perhaps you have seen or heard about the Mayor of Houston, the City Council of Houston, the in house attorney for the City of Houston, a few ordained, Christian ministers, and some 50,000 of the City of Houston’s citizens having a dispute amongst themselves. It was all over the news and even made Fox News all last week. Read more about Houston...We Do Have A Problem Here

New Senate Republican Majority

The message sent on election night from the American people is loud and clear: Washington is broken, the big government experiment has failed, and the time has come for fresh leadership and a new direction for the country. Texas Republicans Crushed ‘Em!

Issues:

Republican Party of Texas - A year and a half ago, Democratic Obama operatives boldly pronounced that they were going turn Texas blue. Tens of millions of dollars spent on their behalf later, Texans defiantly answered by bestowing on our entire ticket landslide victories. By Targeting Obama Districts, House Republicans Have Strongest Majority In Nearly A Century

Issues:

The following is a memo written by the National Republican Congressional Committee:

“Obama, fresh off his November reelection, began almost at once executing plans to win back the House in 2014, which he and his advisers believe will be crucial to the outcome of his second term and to his legacy as president.” – The Washington Post, March 2, 2013

Sid Miller Plants Solid Win to Become Texas Ag Commissioner

Issues:

Former Texas State Representative Sid Miller will become the next Texas Agriculture Commissioner after a solid victory over his Democrat opponent Jim Hogan. Miller won a decisive victory by garnering nearly 60 percent of the vote. His opponent only received about 37 percent of the vote. Miller will replace outgoing Commissioner Todd Staples who decided not to run for re-election in order to pursue a run for Lt. Governor in the Republican Primary.
