As left-of-center voices call for even less border security, a chilling report from U.S. law enforcement reveals an alleged Mexican cartel member claims he killed 30 individuals on U.S. soil.
The confessed killer, Jose Manuel Martinez, is originally from Mexico but has legal status in the U.S. according to Fox News Latino. He was arrested in Arizona but later extradited to Alabama for his crimes there. In a conference call with U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) late last week, I learned that Democrats are working against meaningful immigration reform to appease growing opposition from labor unions by setting unrealistically low quotas from labor visas for construction workers. Cornyn told me that labor unions have discriminated against the construction industry by setting the false quotas in order to protect the unions. Hispanic voters should take a deep look at what the Democrats and labor unions are up to and how it will affect immigration numbers. Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee Senator Tommy Williams has been plugging the “good conservative budget … we can all be proud of” that the Texas legislature passed and Governor Perry left largely intact. Senator Williams claims with this budget, “we are living within our means while funding our priorities.”
Like most of you, I was very disgusted to learn that last week Obama’s Federal Emergency Management Agency turned down Governor Perry’s request for emergency aid for the devastated town of West. We shouldn't have been surprised. Look how he dragged his feet when Texas was in flames last summer. Unfortunately, we have found time and time again, it seems there is no low this president won’t sink to in order to make his desire for political retribution against the Lone Star State known.
