The First Presbyterian Church of Dallas supported an anti-Second Amendment movement by hosting its 7th annual gun buy-back program to purchase guns in order to destroy them. However, across the street from the church, Lawson spoke for the pro-Second Amendment group who believed that guns should be placed in the hands of every responsible American citizen. Obama's favorability is dropping, and guess what, the NRA is now more popular than Obama. Who would have thought? There are several lessons to be learned.

State Rep. James White has proposed a bill that will require the leaders of Texas to start crunching the numbers and figure out what Texas would look like if it had to be self sufficient... limited or no federal support.... OUR OWN COUNTRY.... oops, I am getting a little ahead of myself, haha. Hey, I didn't say secession but that certainly comes to mind when thinking about the federal government having a financial meltdown and cutting off most or all support to the States.

On the north steps of the Texas Capitol at high noon on a cool January afternoon, between 1,500 and 2,000 liberty loving Texans gathered to use their 1st Amendment Right to Free Speech to protect their 2nd Amendment Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
