Houston Conservative Activist and American Patriot Stan Smith Dies at 82

I would like to pause for a moment to recognize the passing of a friend and fellow US Border Watch member Stan Smith. I met Stan several years ago when I first began working with US Border Watch. I quickly learned that this senior citizen was not at all ready to stop fighting for his country and what he believed in.

Stan was just barely over 82 when he passed on Monday, Nov. 21st. But to watch him on the protest lines, or in Republican meetings you would never have known it. His passion for this nation and his activities seemed limitless. The last time I saw Stan was just a few months ago.  He stood strong in this record summer heat at protest rallies and made numerous trips to Austin to support or oppose various pieces of legislation.  He was a tireless worker.

Harris County Republican Party Chairman, Jared Woodfill said, "Stan was a fixture in our party for many years; working tirelessly for conservative candidates and causes.  His laughter and friendship will be missed by all."

Stan and I did not always see eye to eye on certain details of some issues. Most of the time we were in solid agreement. But even when we were not, he would listen to what I had to say and treat me with the respect of a friendship built on working together for a common good. He was a great example of living Ronald Reagan's quote "A person who agrees with you 80% of the time is not a 20% enemy." This is a lesson we all could probably do better at in these divisive political times.

Visitation for Stan will be Monday, Nov 28 from 5 till 8 pm.  Services will be held Tuesday, Nov 29th at 2 pm. The location is Rosewood Funeral Home located at 2602 S. Houston Ave, Humble, TX 77396.

Stan was an American Veteran, a proud defender of our national security and a believer in the rule of law. Stan Smith was and is, a Great American.

Stan, thank you for everything you have done and for your friendship. I will pray for your family and for your eternal peace.

Today, the story of the missing nuclear weapons, based on Israel’s frantic efforts to push the United States into an attack on Iran and our evidence of Israeli involvement in the execution of both 9/11 and 7/7, has given us reason to fear that Israel may be planning a nuclear terror attack on the United States. It would be the natural response to the failure of the IAEA report failure. The last real attack on the US was 11 years ago and there is also increasing danger that Israel is being tied to that attack and THIS WILL SOON BE MADE PUBLIC. Many, more in the mainstream media than anyone would guess, have come to discover Israeli complicity in 9/11. http://tinyurl.com/JewsToNukeAmerica
