A Glimmer Of Hope For The Last Conservative Standing!

We must never give up; our founding fathers did not die to make America the heart of freedom just for us to be discouraged because Romney or Gingrich are not our choice candidate. If we give up, what future will we leave our children and grandchildren, a future under socialism and communism? Imagine our future generations living in poverty and without the knowledge of Almighty God.

Rick Santorum suspended his campaign disappointing many of his supporters. Santorum did what he believed to be the right thing to do for himself and his family. We must respect his wishes. With Santorum dropping out, we have only two viable GOP candidates, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, left standing. Newt Gingrich is the more conservative of the two. This election remains ours to lose. We decide if we want to win or not by going to the polls or staying home. Nothing will make Obama and his administration happier if we are discouraged and not enthused by our nominee. As conservatives we have an opportunity to vote for Gingrich in the months prior to the National Convention. True, Gingrich has a huge mountain to climb but nonetheless, there is still a glimmer of hope for him. Gingrich has outlined a list of Executive Orders that he would sign on Day One. You can go on his website and read the Executive Orders for yourself.

  1. The Drill Here Drill Now Pay Less Executive Order.
  2. Eliminate the thirty-nine White House “Czar” positions created during the current administration.
  3. “Mexico City Policy” of Respect for Life.
  4. Restore conscience clause protections for Healthcare Workers.
  5. Respect Each Sovereign Nation’s Choice of its Capital.
  6. End the Attorney General’s Assault on the States.
  7. The Keystone Pipeline.

Gingrich also understands that Republicans must seek the Hispanic vote if we want to continue to grow in numbers. His plan for immigration and his stance on Pro Life and the 2nd and 10th Amendments are critical in keeping with America’s values.

As Conservatives we still have a choice, Romney or Gingrich. We all know that Romney is the least conservative of the GOP candidates but he is more conservative than Obama. Romney loves America and is a capitalist. Obama hates America and is a Socialist. IF Obama is reelected, the America we once knew will be gone forever.

There are still approximately 1000 delegates in the primaries ahead that can be won by the candidates still in the race, so it is not inconceivable that Gingrich can manage to win the nomination. Santorum’s delegates will also be redistributed at the national convention. So anything is possible. Yes, Romney has the advantage and if he is our nominee we must stand and support him against Obama. Again, this election is not about your favorite candidate, it is not about you, it is not about your feelings; this election is about our America. It is about whether we care enough to vote Obama out. The only way we can do this is if we all unite and support the candidate who becomes our nominee.

For those of you who plan now to vote in the primaries still ahead for your favorite candidate, Bachmann, Cain, Perry, or Santorum as a protest vote, rethink your plan. Will your vote be for America or to make you feel good? Speaking for myself, I want my vote to count for America!

I find it extremely pathetic you would promote the last conservative in the GOP race as Newt. I mean come on, what ever happened to the guy that represents D14? A fellow Texan who is storming through the Caucus delegate processes and is currently in 2nd place in Delegates? Yes I'm talking about the good Dr. Ron Paul. You half assed journalists can pretend all you want that he doesn't exist, it still won't change the reality that he is still there. You won't find a more fiscal conservative in all the candidates that ran this year combined. Hey keep up the good work though on forcing people to realize how much the media is full of crap. Thank God for Critical Thinking, or else we all would be following the Obamney propaganda and voting for the status quo.

Wake up Texas your fellow Texan Ron Paul is still in this race and is a Conservative I have found that there is no such thing as fair coverage anymore you forget to count the so called unbound delegates for they are Ron Paul delegates We the people have a voice louder than the mainstream media it is a message of liberty Restore America now vote conservative

Since when did Conservatives support legalizing drugs abandoning Israel? This article is spot on!

Ron Paul has not accomplished anything in his decades of office. lol Newt is not just the last, but the only fiscal/Christian proven Conservative in the race.

Ron Paul may be fiscally conservative but he is wrong on foreign policy among other things.  How many times has he ran for president now and lost? Apparently mainstream American does not like some of his liberal views such as legalization of drugs. And how old is he? I know he's in his upper 70's. Too old to be president. And why do RP supporters need to use foul language to make a point? It indicates a lack of intelligence and rational thinking.

Ron Paul can't even get a majority of Republicans to vote for him in the primaries (in fact, not only did he place last in the Puerto Rican primary, he lost to Fred Karger, the former actor and political consultant who has never before held elected office).  What makes anyone think Paul can get a majority of Americans to vote for him in November?
