David Keene Opens CPAC 2010

David Keene, the Chairman of the American Conservative Union (ACU) since 1984, was the first person to speak at the 2010 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this morning. Keene stressed that it's not about political parties or any candidate, it's about the principles America was built on. He explained that the conservative movement is about the people. The movement began out in the country, from the bottom up, found its people and its speakers, and with success created the Washington institutions.

"Unless we do something, the country we inherited, may not be the country we pass on to the next generation."
