Abbott Releases Video in Advance of Texas State of the State Address

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) released a video on Monday in advance of his scheduled State of the State Address. The biennial event, the first for Gov. Abbott, will be delivered to a joint session of the Texas Legislature in the State House of Representatives at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Abbott spent the past two years crisscrossing the Lone Star State during his campaign to become the new Governor of Texas. During that time he spoke with people from all walks of life about the issues they faced in their daily lives.

“I have spent the last two years traveling across our great state, hearing from thousands of Texans about the challenges they face and the solutions they want to see from their leaders,” said Governor Abbott in a press release obtained by Breitbart Texas. “I have cast a vision to address those challenges to provide greater opportunity for all Texans; tomorrow, I will chart a course to make my vision a reality as I lay out my agenda for this legislative session. I look forward to working with each and every legislator to ensure that even the future is bigger in Texas.”
