Congressman Farenthold Attends White House Infrastructure Announcement
I was at the White House yesterday for President Trump’s announcement to reform the U.S. Air Traffic Control System.
The plan will transfer air traffic control from the FAA to a non-profit public-private corporation, leading to reduced wait times, fewer flight delays and lower costs.
I applaud this plan
As a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I strongly support the president’s plan to modernize air traffic control. The government has wasted billions of dollars trying to update outdated systems. As a frequent flyer, I look forward to a system that works and gets people and cargo to their destinations faster, cheaper, and safer.
Airline leaders, cargo companies, pilots, and other members of Congress were also at the announcement.
