Climate Alarmists Wants To Silence Their Opponents While Their Science Implodes!

Here are some of the latest items of interest dealing with climate change. It has been recognized that we have seen a hiatus in temperature over the past two decades but some climate alarmist extremists are now using their usual cherry picking of data to prove the hiatus never happened and could be eliminated by looking at the data in a new way. The problem is that climate alarmists in Britain have stated that the climate realists are right, the hiatus is real. So the so-called settled science is not really settled as alarmists can’t even agree on what is going on in their own computer model.

Meanwhile 23 new studies this past year alone discussed solar involvement in climate change. So we have new studies discussing natural events' involvement in climate change, collapsing the entire theoretic apparatus that climate alarmists have built. The gig is up, the science backing the alarmist case that climate change is predominately man made has imploded!

Another item, a report from Insurance Journal noted, that the global warming is now a 1.5 plus trillion dollar a year business. Being an alarmist not only pays handsomely but has seen major big growth. In 2011, the alarmist business jumped 15% after a decade of solid growth.

We are talking consulting, renewables, green buildings and hybrid vehicles and that doesn’t count the billions of government dollars directed to researchers, many of whom allied themselves with alarmists. As one reporter observed, much of this growth is driven not by the market but by government mandates and rent-seeking crony capitalists. So green business contributions to political campaigns are the biggest driver of government policies. Consider that the Koch Brothers estimated revenues is only one tenth of the green technology; one can ask why we worry about big oil or the Koch brothers when the greatest rent seekers are the Greenies themselves! Big Green has been a major contributor to the Democratic Party and it is self-evident that without government support, Big Green would go poof! As one writer noted, 1.5 trillion dollars can buy a lot of the right kind of research needed to justify Big Green.

This brings us to the final story of interest.

Twenty scientists have signed a petition to have the government go after “climate skeptics and deniers” with the RICO Act, following up a suggestion by left wing alarmist Senator, Sheldon Whitehouse, who also wants the government to go after those scientists and groups who disagree with him. This is another example of alarmists attempting to silence their opponent. So much for the First Amendment protection, but when you have billions of dollars of research to protect and trillions of dollars of investment, the Greenies do what they need to do to protect their assets. As I wrote in a previous piece, Warren Buffet admitted to his stockholders that their investment in alternative green technology is only profitable if subsidized by government. And that is the reason for the fascist tactics by these twnty scientists and White House, since trillions of dollars of investments are involved.

One of those scientists, Jagadish Skukla, made some half million dollars in federal grants for part time work along with his wife. Maybe we should use the RICO Act to see how many millions these scientists have fleeced from taxpayers?
