Aryan Brotherhood Used Hot Knife to Burn Off Former Member’s Neck Tattoo

An Oklahoma man has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison for helping Aryan Brotherhood gang members use a hot knife to remove the tattoo of a former gang member.

Robert Allen Paul Bryan, 41, was convicted on June 4, 2015 when he pleaded guilty to carrying out the assault as a member of the Universal Aryan Brotherhood (UAB) prison gang. He and other members of the gang restrained a former UAB gang member and used a heated knife to burn off a UAB tattoo on the neck of the victim, according to a statement from the Department of Justice received by Breitbart Texas.

Bryan will spend fifty-seven months in prison for committing violence in aid of racketeering.

The charge against Bryan was part of a twenty-page indictment against Bryan and ten other UAB gang members. The indictment contained four counts of racketeering, drug possession and distribution, illegal interstate and foreign commerce, and violence.

The drugs in the indictment include methamphetamine and marijuana.

According to the indictment attached below, Bryan and two other conspirators held down a former UAB member against his will while another member placed a heated knife on the neck the former member to burn off a UAB patch-tattoo. The patch-tattoo removal was ordered because the UAB believed the victim had “failed to properly supply and distribute drugs to the UAB enterprise.”

He had also been accused of, in association with others, kidnapping a former gang member for the same reason.

During his pleading, Bryan admitted to restraining the former member so that he could be assaulted by the other member. He also acknowledged his association with the “whites only” prison-based gang which has members both in and out of prison all across the state of Oklahoma.

Earlier this month, Breitbart Texas contributing editor Sylvia Longmire reported the sentencing of the last two of thirty-four Aryan Brotherhood of Texas gang members on charges of distributing methamphetamines as part of an organized criminal network.

Breitbart Texas has reported extensively on the organized crime activities of this criminal gang.
