Congressman Sessions Tours Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas

Friday morning I toured the ICU and Emergency Department at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. In August the hospital admitted the individual with the first diagnosed case of Ebola in the United States. That experience prompted them to improve their hospital policies and ensure that the entire staff has the capability to deal with an infectious disease - such as Ebola - should another crisis arise in the future. I had the opportunity to learn about their efforts to strengthen their admittance process in the emergency room and bolster their protocol for response to infectious diseases.

I am proud to have such a wonderful healthcare facility in the 32nd District that provides North Texans with quality care and contributes to the overall health of the community.
