Second Largest Cross in the World to be Erected in Texas

Corpus Christi will be the proud location of the largest cross in the Western Hemisphere. The cross will be located across from the Veteran’s Cemetery and will stand as a silent vigil over the soldiers who also sacrificed for their fellow man. At 210 feet tall, and with a cross beam of 95 feet, the Corpus Christi cross will be made of cold rolled steel and be visible up to three miles away.

This cross to be built in Corpus Christi will be the 2nd largest cross in the world. Valle de los Caidos is the largest cross in the world. The cross will stand taller than crosses in Effingham, Illinois and St. Augustine, Florida. The Corpus Christi cross will take the record as the tallest cross in the Western Hemisphere. This magnificent cross is a gift from the congregation of the Abundant Life Fellowship church to its community, its state, and its country.
