Sessions: Each and Every Life is Precious

I recently released the following statement in support of a measure to prohibit abortions after 20 weeks, which is when a fetus can feel pain, with exceptions in cases of rape, incest, or when a mother’s life is in danger:

When my son Alex was born with Down syndrome there was never a question in my mind of whether or not his life was in the balance. I knew that he would be my most precious gift, and now at age 23 he has grown to be an Eagle Scout, a stellar athlete, and the coolest guy I know. I have always held the firm conviction and belief that every single life is precious and that God has created each and every one of us in his likeness and image. That is why I proudly cast my vote today to protect the innocent gifts from God who are most vulnerable and honor the sanctity of life.
