Gee whiz, I guess we just forgot about that SECOND NUCLEAR ENRICHMENT FACILITY!

The world felt like a more dangerous place Friday morning after Iran revealed that it actually has a second nuclear enrichment facility.

I think it is important to say "felt like" because the reality of the danger has not changed. Iran had that second facility Thursday, and US intelligence, apparently, knew about it.

This makes the stated rationale for our withdrawal of land-based missile defense in Eastern Europe an even thinner fig leaf, but that is not my point.

My point is that reliance on international inspection agencies (the UN's IAEA) and the cooperation of countries whose interests oppose our own (e.g., Russia) is FOLLY.

What price will Iran pay for this latest subterfuge? None.

This only makes war inevitable. Churchill's accusation to Parliament rings true even today:

You have been given the choice between war and dishonor. You have chosen dishonor, and you will have war!

Listen to Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to the UN for an example of someone who has a clear perception of the danger to Israel posed by the Iranian regime.

It seems that our President refuses to recognize that clear reality. I believe he thinks he is only working toward peace. In fact, his actions are only making war inevitable.
