Glenn Beck: The SEC is no longer subject to the Freedom of Information Act

In his July 28th show, Glenn Beck explained that the SEC and self regulatory rule-making bodies will be exempt from the Freedom of Information Act. Oh, but the SEC Chairman did state that "because of the significant rulemaking envisioned under the new regulatory reform law, the public will have an opportunity to voice its views before rules or amendments are proposed...".

This is incredible. The SEC wields a ton of power and now they don’t have to answer to the people. Sounds like we’re on the road to a dictatorship.
