Jon Cobb Endorses Susan King In Republican Primary Runoff For State Senate District 24

State Senate District 24, Monday, March 7, 2016— "I hope those who supported me in the Republican Primary, will choose Susan King in the runoff," said Jon Cobb, a close 3rd place Republican candidate finisher in the 6-person March 1st field for State Senate District 24. Cobb, who was raised in a military family, is a small businessman and entrepreneur from Bee Cave in Travis County.

Cobb pulled 20.4% of the vote districtwide and received the most votes in Coryell, Llano and San Saba counties. Cobb's campaign also finished as one of the top two Republicans in Bell County.

King (R-Abilene) is the current Republican Chairman of the Texas House Committee on Defense and Veterans' Affairs. She led the field of 6 candidates in the State Senate race with 27%. Cobb's endorsement continues King's growing momentum for the May 24th Runoff as she also received key endorsements last week from Jimmie Don Aycock (R-Killeen) Chairman of the Texas House Committee on Public Education and Lampasas County GOP Chairman Skipper Wallace.

"I am honored to have Jon's endorsement," said King. "Jon ran an outstanding campaign and we share a passionate commitment to represent the Republican interests and real needs of the families across all 17 counties in State Senate District 24."

Cobb's letter of endorsement is attached along with a copy of the Texas Secretary of State's election night Republican primary returns for State Senate District 24.
