New Corpus Christi VA Outpatient Clinic

The new Corpus Christi VA Outpatient Clinic is now open and functioning. The re-opening comes about seven months after Hurricane Harvey damaged the original clinic. The water damage caused by the hurricane resulted in the removal of drywall, ceiling tiles and flooring. The remodel also included new electrical wiring, doors, and check in areas.

The new clinic consists of more exam rooms and a triage room to provide the best care to veterans seeking treatment. There are now 34 exam rooms and a designated area with three exam rooms for women's exams, along with six exam rooms for mental health.

With 80 to 90 veterans seeking care at the Corpus Christi VA Outpatient Clinic daily, this upgrade and re-opening was critical to the community. The work done to the clinic was necessary for the veterans of the community and I am glad it is finally open.

One of my red tape cutters, Nicole Beamer, was at the ribbon cutting representing me while I was in Washington. If you or someone you know is having problems with the VA or any government agency, give Nicole a call at (361) 884-2222 or speak to me or anyone on my staff.
