Touring the Progress of Hurricane Harvey Recovery

Last Wednesday, I joined community leaders, residents, and business owners on the "Windshield Bus Tour" through the Rockport-Fulton area. During this tour, I saw the significant recovery that's taken place throughout some of the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Harvey. On the tour, local leaders announced that 22 homes will be built by Habitat for Humanity. I am encouraged by the progress made during the last five months as our communities rebuild, but we have a long way to go.
