I am extremely proud to be a native Texan. I love where I live between the hills and along the Guadalupe River where I feast my eyes every day. The other blessings are the conservatives that fill the area. We just received a report that we had 66% turnout and over 75% of the votes went to Governor Mitt Romney for president in Comal County.

How Could We Lose? But We Did! - Hangover

Tuesday’s presidential election was extremely disappointing and I was stunned as I was not expecting defeat. How could we lose? Obama spent more time on the golf course and traveling than working in the Oval Office. How could we lose? He watched our heroes die in Benghazi and did

What's Next?

The country is split but is also moving left of center. I am not interested in rerunning the campaign and worrying about who is to blame for what strategy. Every campaign makes mistakes, and the campaign takes on the character of the candidate on the top of the ticket. Let's be clear, both candidates set out clear agendas and Obama's agenda of increasing spending, furthering government interventions and crony capitalism won.

Strategy To Remain On Offense Keeps House In GOP Hands

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is a political committee devoted to maintaining and increasing the 239-member Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.

To win in 2012, you had to understand 2010.

Republicans made historic gains two years ago – defeating Democrats in every region of the country and evicting Nancy Pelosi from the Speaker’s chair. These wins were born out of America’s frustration with Washington. For two years straight, Democrats ruthlessly forced a big-government, Washington-knows-best agenda on the American people. It was a disaster for the economy

List of Conservative Wins and Losses in Congress - Republicans keep control of U.S. House Of Representatives - 2012 Election Results

Obama might have won the Presidency but thankfully he will still not have control of the United States House of Representatives. Democrats do still control the U.S. Senate though. If Republicans in Congress stick together, they can hopefully slow down Obama's path of destruction.

Here in Texas we have a super Conservative new United States Senator Ted Cruz. Right here in southeast Texas, we got 2 new very conservative Congressmen, Steve Stockman and Randy Weber.

I had the pleasure of spending election night at the Ted Cruz and Steve Stockman Victory Parties last night. Even though we lost the Presidency, it was very exciting to know that we have strong conservatives in Congress representing us and hopefully holding back Obama's destructive ideas.

Thousands of Ballots Unlikely to Reach Military Voters

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, joined by Sens. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), John McCain (R-AZ), Rob Portman (R-OH), and Marco Rubio (R-FL) wrote to Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta to express their concern over the Department of Defense not reducing delays in ballots reaching military voters stationed overseas.

Immigration Reform - The Silent Issue in Presidential Politics

Guest Workers NeededPresident Obama made huge promises to the American people about what he would do about immigration. He promised voters he would pass true reform legislation in his first year in office. Not only did he not pass any kind of reform, he did not even propose anything. And this was during a time where he controlled the U.S. House and Senate and could have passed anything he wanted. He did nothing.

Now fast forward to the 2012 election.
