Kira Davis - Using Constitutional Principles to Elevate the Black Community

Kira Davis at King Street PatrtionsLast night I attended a meeting at King Street Patriots in Houston where the topic was talking to minorities about conservative and Republican principles. During the meeting I met Kira Davis and learned about her battles as a black female conservative and how she uses constitutional principles to elevate members of the black community.   Read more »

The Electoral College: How to Defend?

Someone on my Facebook page (which I hope you will ‘like’) asked about defending the electoral college: should he make the argument that electors will have more sober and impartial judgment than the fickle masses, etc.?

I wouldn’t. Given that the electors are nearly always party machine people, almost none of them will be independent minded, so the arguments the Framers of the Constitution

Can You Stand Another Lena Dunham Parody?

I was as impressed and amazed by the quality and quantity of Lena Dunham parodies as I was disgusted by the ad itself. I’d LOVE to post my own, but I have several problems…

First of all, I’m technologically challenged. I find it difficult to select a movie on Netflx and negotiate through numerous remotes and input selections without aid from my husband or daughter

Republican War on Women and Other Great Myths - "Ladies, Can We Talk?"

Debora Georgatos and Bob PriceEarlier this year, the Democrats and the liberal media created a mythological Republican war against women when George Stephanopoulos of ABC News asked Governor Mitt Romney in one of the primary presidential debates about whether a state should have the right to legislate a woman’s access to contraception. Governor Romney responded very appropriately that no one was even thinking about that, talking about that, etc, but the media picked up on it and really ran with it creating this myth that somehow there is a Republican war on women.   Read more »

A Note From the RPT Ballot Integrity Task Force

Republican Party of Texas - Dear Fellow Texas Voter, We have verified at least two instances in the state of Texas where an electronic voting machine did not correctly register the vote that the voter marked. In one instance, the person voted for Romney/Ryan, and the voting machine registered Obama/Biden. In another instance, the person voted straight Republican ticket, and the voting machine registered straight Green Party ticket. In both instances, the voter caught the mistake and reported it to the Election Judge, and the voter was able to vote the way they wanted.   Read more »

We Must Stop This

The following is a letter from Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of True the Vote:

Dear Patriot,

In Florida, someone is sending threatening official-looking letters to Republican voters. The letters appear to come from an election official and falsely insinuate that the recipients are not eligible to vote.

This is yet another true case of voter fraud. It’s the type of criminal behavior that convinced me to form True the

Ted Cruz and David Pineda Push Republican Party into New Era

This new era is called the "Era of Hard Work." Ted Cruz was able to overcome the money and resume of David Dewhurst. There is probably no Republican group, no matter how small, in Texas that has not hosted Ted Cruz. Embracing and empowering the grassroots years before and during the primary with hard work is how Ted Cruz was able to stun some of Austin's most shrewd political consultants. I personally found myself having to recognize Cruz's payoff when I was at Dewhurst's election night party. Ted Cruz, on Wednesday, visited David Pineda in an effort to add to already strong firepower of the get out the vote machine of Pineda in House District 144, Pasadena, Texas.
