Slash taxes and liberal spirits

I am so not ready to spread holiday cheer.

Egg Nog is a perfect metaphor for liberals because they are disasters from the day they become eggs to the day they develop fully (de)formed noggins.

I have never seen such a bunch of imbeciles. They get angry when they lose, and for some reason get even angrier when they win. They can’t even tell the difference anymore.   Read more »

Can Barack Obama be Re-elected in 2012?

A Different Perspective on the 2012 Election

It’s now clear that Democrats suffered huge losses in the House of Representatives and substantial losses in the U. S. Senate as a result of the Midterm elections. Republicans are on track to win 63 net House seats and 6 net Senate seats

Rick Perry Dabbles In REAL Reform

Someone posted this video of Rick Perry’s FOX News Sunday interview on Facebook on Monday. I’ve been wanting to discuss the sort of radical reform that it seems to me is the only way to truly escape both the consequence of America’s fiscal and moral incontinence (we are wetting ourselves in both regards) and the seemingly ineradicable dispute between those who revere constitutional liberty and those who trust government more than markets to regulate social and commercial morality.

Some Lessons from 2010

The election of 2010 is over and the election of 2012 has begun. Put away the champagne bottles, the celebration for 2010 should be officially over. Despite the overwhelming victory for Republicans, there are gathering storms over the horizon that needs to be dealt with when it comes to 2012.   Read more »

Rick Perry in 2012?

Governor Rick Perry went "On the Record" with Greta Van Susteren to discuss the health care debate, the Tea Party, Texas's assistance during Hurricane Katrina, and whether he wants to run for President in 2012.

On whether he's considering a run for President:   Read more »

(VIDEO) Rudy Giuliani on The View: Sarah Palin has more qualifications than Barack Obama when he ran for President

Another interesting day on "The View" yesterday with Rudy Giuliani discussing Sarah Palin, Barack Obama, and healthcare reform. Of course he was booed when he dared mention anything negative about Obama!

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: So, do you think [Sarah Palin] actually has a case? What is it?

GIULIANI: Yeah, sure she does.   Read more »

2010 Elections - Quick Thoughts

Here are some quick thoughts that popped in my mind on the recent elections. Yes, the GOP did well overall and yes, the GOP missed opportunities in Colorado and Nevada. Yes, we have heard the Monday morning quarterbacks lament our weak candidates in states like Nevada and Delaware.   Read more »

WHAT’S NEXT FOR SARAH PALIN?

Should She Run for President??

Governor Sarah Palin’s star has risen rapidly and effectively. She has been the foremost spokesman for the Tea Party movement. This has taken place as a result of her having been brought to the forefront as the Vice Presidential candidate in the McCain campaign.

Without Sarah’s presence on McCain’s presidential ticket, his campaign would have been an even greater failure. However, the election of Obama

Our messaging on Illegal Immigration is what gave California and Nevada to the Democrats

California and Nevada were ours for the taking. We began to lose momentum and it was excruciating watching so much time, money and resources slowly fade away.

Of course the GOP destroyed the Democrats, but for the sake of the party and our 2012 prospects we must be introspective.

Why is it so hard to get good people to run for public office?

With the intentional character assassination by WFAA's Brad Watson, cowardly political positions like those taken by the Dallas Morning News and DCRP Chairman Jonathan Neerman against Stephen Broden, is it any wonder why it is so difficult to get decent people to run for public office? Look how far back they had to dig to find something on Christine O'Donnell - ALL THE WAY TO HIGH SCHOOL! Come on people! Are we looking for public servants or saints? Who among you does not have some skeleton in your closet?  Who hasn't said some phrase they wish they could have back?  Let ye who is without sin cast the first stone!   Read more »
