Why Romney Won: Obama is just an Actor
President Obama was exposed for being an actor. For four years he pretended and improvised. Last night Mitt Romney cornered him and exposed him. Romney raised the discussion to real Presidential levels, not the accustomed discussion levels of "The View", "ESPN" Dream Team Olympic interviews or interviews on rap radio with the "Pimp with the Limp." This election season has been nothing short of weekly skewerings of Republicans by the leftist writers and cast of Saturday Night Live. However, this past Saturday's Denver Debate recap took shot after shot at Obama in a way SNL has never done in the past. Furthermore,
As I was listening to the Progressives reflect on the recent debate performance of President Obama and Governor Romney, I had a familiar phrase come running through my mind. “Do Over!” As a reminder, a “Do Over!” is a non obligatory grant of a second chance to accomplish a certain goal (usually athletic) by a competitor. It is only offered after some type of intervening cause that unfairly interrupts the original chance. And it is a grant that is requested (not demanded) by the losing competitor.
It looks like the liberals are desperately grasping at any excuse to explain Obama's debate flop last night. Al Gore stated on his TV network, Current TV, that Denver's high altitude was to blame. “Obama arrived in Denver at 2 pm today, just a few hours before the debate started. Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don’t know…”
If you think this debate on domestic policy was bad, just wait until we get to foreign policy.
As President Barack Obama and Govenor Mitt Romney prepare for Wednesday's debate on domestic policy, I certainly hope they have spent some time looking at immigration. President Obama's policies have been extremely hostile to Hispanics. His administration has deported more Hispanics than any in history. And, at the same time, he failed to deliver on any of his promises for much needed immigration reform, despite his promises to the Hispanic community that immigration reform would be a first-term priority.
I have the privilege of being able to hear from and visit with many of you each week. As a group, you are highly informed about current events and are fully aware of the offenses committed against our liberties by the Obama administration. You see the profound bias on display in the old media
For those who read polls on a daily basis and see an Obama sweep coming, let me explain a few pointers about the polls you read.
During the planning process for my recent trip to Washington, DC, I learned the House Judiciary Committee would be having a hearing entitled, "The Obama Administration's Abuse of Power". As this fits right in with this series of stories, I contacted the committee and Chairman Lamar Smith (R-TX) to make arrangements to attend the hearing.
