Why Adela Garza is the Right Candidate to Represent Texas Congressional District 34

Adela Garza is a longtime resident of the Rio Grande Valley and a true servant to her community.

Having served on various school and community boards on a volunteer basis, it is clear she understands the uniqueness of the South Texas culture and has the experience and knowledge to represent our district in Washington. As a small business owner, she knows how to balance a budget and make tough cuts to spending.   Read more »

A Message from Congressman John Culberson

Politics can be dirty. Mistakes are made from time to time. Sometimes the mistakes are accidental. Sometimes they are not. In this case, a mistake was made in a mailing piece by Congressional Candidate Bill Tofte, running for CD 7 against an outstanding Conservative Congressman John Culberson.   Read more »

As he is running unopposed, he will also serve Bee County next year as the new District Attorney.

All this to say, it is no small thing that this servant of the people has endorsed Adela Garza in her race to be the first Congressional Representative for the newly created 34th Congressional District. In the video interview below,

Harris County Sheriff Candidate Louis Guthrie Wins Trial Against Adrian Garcia

Adrian Garcia - Louis GuthrieLouis Guthrie, candidate for the Republican nomination for Harris County Sheriff, won an important court case last week in Judge Caroline Baker's 295th Civil District Court. Shortly after Sheriff Adrian Garcia took office in 2009, then Lt. Guthrie was (as many would say - wrongfully) terminated from the Harris County Sheriff's Department after an incident involving Guthrie's wife having money stolen from her car at a carwash in Humble, Texas.   Read more »

Senate Candidate Craig James on Business, Budgets and Energy (Video Interview)

The race for the US Senate seat being vacated by retiring Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison has produced some very interesting candidates. People from the grassroots like Lela Pettinger to establishment Republicans like David Dewhurst. A late entry in the race has quickly moved to the top tier of candidates in the race - former NFL quarterback and Texas businessman Craig James.

I first heard James speak at the Saddle Up Texas Tea Party Straw Poll earlier this year and was intrigued by what I heard.
