Voice of the Conservative Vote: Judge Steve Hilbig

Justice Steve Hilbig serves Texas' Fourth Court of Appeals and is running for re-election.

Personal

Steve Hilbig was born in 1952 in San Antonio. He is the fourth of six children (all boys) born to Edward and Marie Hilbig. Steve’s father was a plumber that worked as a plumbing sub-contractor in the South Texas area. Ed Hilbig later closed his business and worked as a plumbing inspector for the City of San Antonio. Mr. Hilbig was stricken by Alzheimers and retired from the City of San Antonio in 1986. He died in 1993.   Read more »

Voice of the Conservative Vote: Justice Jeff Rose

Justice Jeff Rose serves Texas' Third Court of Appeals and is running for re-election. Justice Rose brings a wealth of experience and accomplishment to the Third Court of Appeals. Rose's public service has included work as a State District Judge for Travis County, Chief of General Litigation for the State of Texas, and Deputy First Assistant Attorney General under Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott. In private practice, Justice Rose represented a broad cross section of clients in litigation matters and earned partnership in a large Texas law firm.

Voice of the Conservative Vote: David Rosa

David Rosa is the Republican candidate for Congressional District 20.

David Rosa was born on April 23, 1961 on the Southwest Side of Chicago to a father who was a hard working steelworker, and a mother who cared for and raised six children. When he was seven, his aunt, a local precinct captain, helped spur his early involvement in government. He volunteered in his community until he graduated from Curie High School at the top of his class.

Louis Guthrie is a candidate for Harris County Sheriff. He was born and raised in Humble, Texas. His mother, a real estate broker, and his father, a retired State Trooper and businessman, raised Louis to understand the value of hard work, being a good neighbor, and fiscal responsibility. Voice of the Conservative Vote: Ann Romney

Ann Romney places primary importance on her role as a wife, a mother and a grandmother. And as First Lady of MA, she continued her work on behalf of disadvantaged women and children in her community and abroad.

In 1998, Mrs. Romney was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She has volunteered much of her time to raise awareness of the disease as a Board Member of the New England Chapter of the MS Society, and has been awarded the Society's Inspiration Award.

David is the Candidate for Texas House of Representatives, District 144, in Pasadena, TX.

David grew up in north Pasadena. He attended Kruse Elementary, Jackson Middle School, and Pasadena High School. He is one of seven children, all of whom still live in Pasadena and the greater Houston area. David has given back throughout his life, serving as a member of the Lone Star Veterans Association, as well as the Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America. He also volunteered in an orphanage in Japan and mentored at-risk children in Pasadena. Alma Perez Jackson is the Republican nominee for Texas State Representative District 125.

Alma Perez Jackson was born to Victor and Juanita Perez, in Laredo, Texas. When she was very young, the Perez family moved to San Antonio and raised Alma and her siblings on the southside. Her spanish speaking parents instilled a sense of pride, gratefulness and gratitude for her country and her state. Voice of the Conservative Vote: Paul Ryan

Congressman Paul Ryan is the Republican Vice Presidential nominee. Born and raised in the community of Janesville, Paul Ryan is a fifth-generation Wisconsin native. Currently serving his 7th term as a Member of Congress, Paul works to address the many important issues affecting Wisconsin residents and serve as an effective advocate for the 1st Congressional District.

He is the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, where he works to bring fiscal discipline and accountability to the federal government.
