Poll: People sick of Obama’s policies

I always laugh when a poll tells us the obvious, and no surprise here, as a new CNN/ORC poll shows that most Americans, 57 percent, want the next president to undo “Change we can believe in,” and go back to the America that was.

And when you consider these polls, you must understand how they ask questions. Because the polls are misleading as the ACTUAL number of people who want the OLD America back is closer to 80 percent!

Nevertheless, here are the poll results from CNN:

Three statements generated wide-reaching support. Fifty-nine percent of Americans say they’d like a candidate who has been in the public eye as a political leader for many years over one who’s new to the political scene. Further, 59% say they prefer a candidate with executive experience over one who’s worked as a legislator, and 57% say their perfect Obama successor would change most of the policies enacted by Obama’s administration.

Another telling stat: Only 41% of respondents want a candidate who will keep most of Obama’s policies, the poll found.

The net: 59 percent of people are pulling the wagon and 41 percent are IN the wagon. In less than a decade, those numbers will have reversed. I would argue that no more than 20 percent of Americans at any given time truly need government assistance.

For you naysayers, ask yourself what Americans did before we had such a gangster government? What did Americans do before EBT cards, WIC, AFDC, Section 8 housing, and the host of other “entitlements” we now so easily give out.

By political party, the numbers are not surprising, as 94 percent of Republicans want a candidate who will change most of Obama’s policies; 77 percent of Democrats want a candidate who will keep most of Obama’s polices. I don’t think the Democrats are nearly that much in favor of Obama’s policies, as they are more in favor of not looking bad, and are forced to support him.

The real point of this stat is that 6 percent of Republicans are NOT Republican, and 23 percent of Democrats want to come in from the cold.

Here’s the outcome of the attack on a country founded on Judeo-Christian values.

With respect to religion, the poll found that most Americans want someone in the White House who governs without the influence of religion (56%). Only 42% of respondents want a candidate whose policy is influenced by religion.

So in a country steeped in religion, if we believe this poll, the majority of the country want religion out.

Further on this point, 61 percent of Republicans and 62 percent of conservatives prefer a candidate whose policymaking is influenced by religion; 62 percent of Democrats and 82 percent of liberals want the opposite in their perfect candidate. Independents mirror the view of Democrats in regard to this point.

So not only does the Left own the anti-religion sentiment, their infection has spread to 38 percent of Conservatives and Republicans.

From this next part of the poll, one can see were religion is headed:

There’s also a wide age break on religion’s role in policy, mirroring the overall demographic trend in the U.S. away from organized religion. Seventy percent of those under age 35 say their ideal candidate wouldn’t use religion to make policy decisions, while a majority of those over age 65 (53%) think religious views should drive policy.
The CNN/ORC International poll was conducted by telephone March 13-15 and included interviews with 1,009 adult Americans. Results for the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

These numbers don’t bode well for theists.

I’d like to think this is because of Obama’s over-medicating America on Islam. Unfortunately, I think America is just in a state of moral decay that is being led by a Leftist revolution against Christianity.
