President Obama Related to Sarah Palin

We all knew President Obama and Brad Pitt were related, but genealogy research shows that Obama shares blood with another well-known icon, although this one he may not be too happy about  - Sarah Palin. Will Obama think twice about his demeaning remarks toward her now that they're family? Probably not. 

According to NY Daily News:

Palin and Obama are connected through John Smith, a pastor and settler in Massachusetts.

"Smith was against the persecution of the Quakers," Anastasia Tyler of Ancestry.com said. "He was a very socially conscious man."

Obama was also found to be related to Rush Limbaugh and George W. Bush.

President George W. Bush is related to Palin and Obama, too, through Samuel Hinckley, who was John Smith's father-in-law.

As for Obama's link to Limbaugh, Richmond Terrell was a prominent land baron in Virginia whose history, Tyler said, "is a little more nebulous."
