There are not many details available yet, but we know that this afternoon there was a shootout in Starr County Texas that involved Law Enforcement officers and at least 15 armed Mexican Nationals who crossed the border. Border Shootout in Starr County between Roma, TX and Rio Grande City, TX.
The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued a public warning. Drug Cartels are recruiting Texas kids to join their violent gangs and to traffic drugs and even be beaten to death.
The Texas Department of Public Safety has just announced that the
AMERICAN BORDER NOT SAFE. IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THIS SPILLS OVER.
My Brother and I are soldiers in the Army National Guard. My brother, James Bellow, is currently deployed on the Texas/Mexico border. In the early morning hours of April 21st, 2011, my brother witnessed and recorded a MASSIVE firefight and Battle in Mexico, right across from the city of Roma, TX. This battle lasted for hours and included machine gun fire and several explosions from grenades of mortars.
Thirty-three days is now the life expectancy of a police chief in Nuevo Laredo. And actually, in comparison, this chief outlived some of his predecessors. Retired Army Brigadier General Manuel Farfan had served his country honorably. The drug cartels, most likely Los Zetas, were not impressed.
In the darkness of night, Tuesday night (12/14) another US Border Patrol Agent was gunned down and killed along the Arizona/Mexico Border. Agent Brian A. Terry was patrolling a region of the border called the Peckwell/Rio Ricco sector with an undetermined number of other US Border Patrol Agents when they came acorss five suspects. The suspects opened fire on the agents.
