What If They Are Wrong?

Here is a thought: what if our atmosphere needs more CO2 as opposed to less? Harrison Schmitt, former astronaut and current professor at University of Wisconsin at Madison, and Professor William Happier of Princeton wrote recently, “Contrary to what some would have us believe, increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will benefit the increasing population on the planet by increasing agricultural productivity.” This is the complete opposite of what we are being told, but it does make sense for three reasons.

More Spending, More Regulation, More of the Same

Under President Obama, the deficit has doubled. The federal government now borrows 40 cents for every new dollar it spends. No family, no community, no country can sustain that kind of excessive spending. It’s the road to bankruptcy. We need to identify irresponsible spending, eliminate wasteful projects, and prioritize programs that provide the greatest benefit to the American people and economy.

Neugebauer Response to the State of the Union

I was disappointed, but not surprised, by the President’s remarks tonight. He laid out a very liberal agenda that called for raising taxes, stricter gun control, and a greater focus on climate change.

Meanwhile, our country is struggling under the weight of our $16 trillion debt, and he didn’t present any real solutions for lightening that load.   Read more »

Climate Science - What is Truth?

Three years ago, Climategate exposed the weakness of climate science presented to the public. One major thesis promoted by many within the "humanity is primarily responsible for climate change" crowd is that there were no major changes in climate until the second half of this century became discredited after the release of those emails. Since Climategate, it became okay to challenge the conventional wisdom that our present climate change is strictly manmade.   Read more »

UN Takes Concrete Steps Toward Global Tax

In Doha, Qatar late Saturday delegates attending the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change took concrete steps toward a new global treaty to address global warming that will transform the economic structure of the world with a new global tax. To be completed by 2015, the UN expects every nation to implement it by 2020, even though the globe has not warmed for the past 16 years.   Read more »

UN Conference on Global Warming or Global Wealth Redistribution? And why was Lord Christopher Monckton Evicted?

The United Nations conference on climate change met in Qatar last week, with the purpose of making plans to deal with the supposed impending disaster that conferees believe will flow from global climate change caused by increased levels of manmade CO2 in the atmosphere. No mention in anything that I read about the conference of the fact that only 3% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is manmade, and all the rest is just a naturally occurring element, which is vital for life on earth.   Read more »

UN Meeting Shrouded in Secrecy

Left to right: Lord Christopher Monckton of the UK, Craig Rucker of CFACT and Cathie Adams of Eagle Forum

Cathie Adams, the International Issues Chairman for Eagle Forum, participated in a press conference organized by CFACT, the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, in Doha, Qatar on Thursday.

She remarked that the United Nations first "paperless" meeting allowed the negotiations to take place in smoke-filled rooms with absolutely no transparency,

“Complete Transformation of the Economic Structure of the World”

The United Nations is meeting in Qatar to negotiate a “complete transformation of the economic structure of the world,” explained Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change at a Monday press conference.

“What is occurring here, not just in Doha, but in the whole climate change process is the complete transformation of the economic structure of the world. It should happen much quicker, but it cannot happen overnight,” she added.

Figueres concluded, “This Conference of the Parties will produce a second commitment period to the Kyoto Protocol, the only legally binding agreement. It will have the necessary amendments to go into a second

International Revolution to Create a Global Tax Scheme

Science does not motivate the 195 parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change; instead, it is the Green Climate Fund’s potential jackpot of trillions of dollars.

The UNFCCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres says a “revolution, the largest, most deeply rooted revolution mankind has ever seen, a deep transformation,”

Doha, Qatar: Perfect Laboratory to Study Climate Change

The U.S. is negotiating at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change meeting in Doha, Qatar, a new legally binding treaty to cap and trade greenhouse gases, primarily carbon dioxide that is emitted when fossil fuels are burned.

Since 1997, the U.S. has wrestled with a proposed GHG cap of 7% below 1990 levels by 2012. The U.S. Senate never ratified that treaty called the Kyoto Protocol
