On September 4, 2010, the middle of Labor Day holiday weekend, an auditorium in Forth Worth, Texas, was crowded with activists concerned about individual liberty and state sovereignty in the face of the crisis of a power-hungry, bloated U.S. federal government.
The 10th Amendment to the US Constitution states, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Yet, the Federal Government has expanded its powers well beyond the scope intended by the founding fathers of our country. How do we stop this unconstitutional expansion of federal power?

You know, I had a lot of respect for Debra Medina. She really ran an impressive grassroots campaign for Governor, but then she goes and does something ridiculous and I can't keep my mouth shut.
A record number of early voters have turned up for the Primary Election today. Primary candidates are scrambling to get out their last word and make an impression on voters before all ballots are cast. Top primary races include Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State and Congressional House, State Senate, State Board of Education, County Commission, and Commissioner of Agriculture.
