Steve Munisteri chairman of the Republican Party of Texas has done a great job with the Grassroots Club. On April 1, the Grassroots Club members were invited to a brunch at Cisco’s Restaurant in Austin with Senator John Cornyn.

Seventy-one years ago, on December 7th, 1941, the Japanese attacked American forces at Pearl Harbor, killing 2,402 Americans, wounding 1,282, destroying 188 aircraft, sinking four Navy battleships, and, as the world later found out, awakening a sleeping giant. On the eleventh anniversary of September 11th, America was attacked again on its sovereign soil. In Egypt, protestors stormed the U.S. Embassy, and in Libya, our Ambassador, Chris Stephens, and three other Americans were brutally murdered. Since then we have watched horrific scenes of our flag burning in the streets and our embassies under siege. Over the past month I have talked to many of you who wonder why we send money to many of these nations when their hatred for America is at an all time high. I couldn't agree more. It's time to rethink U.S. foreign aid.

Shortly after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, President Barack Obama's former minister, Rev. Jeremiah Wright went on an anti-American rant which included an America-blaming quote, "America's chickens are coming home to roost."  After listening to this pastor, whose church President Obama sat in for over 20 years, it is easy to see where the President gets his "blame America first" mentality. But after looking back at Obama's illegal war against Libya and his ill-advised Middle East policy, one must wonder if Rev. Wright would revise his now famous quote and say "Obama's chickens are coming home to roost"?

The terrorists immediately justified the attacks by blaming a movie. Make no mistake: this is simply an excuse by those who despise Americans, our values, and human life.

What we have seen within the last two days in the Middle East is nothing short of an organized, massive uprising against the United States by radical Muslim nations. This anti-American uprising occurring in Egypt, Libya, Yemen and other Muslim countries has undoubtedly been generated to occur on the anniversary of 9/11 by the radical Al-Qaeda leader, Ayman al-Zawahri, as revenge for the killings of Osama Bin Laden

I know Israel, I thought the office of the President was concerned with the most pressing issues of our day too. How dumb are we for thinking that the President of the United States would take the time to meet with you? However, it seems that we are simply misunderstanding the President and how he rolls. Update: It has now been confirmed by Libya and U.S. Military officials that the attack was a planned terrorist attack with the anti Muslim film being used as a cover. Even Obama was duped into thinking the attack was over the anti Muslim film, but I guess it does not take much to get him to sympathize with Muslims.
