As the debate of gun control crescendos across America, there are signs of a potentially major development in the murder case of US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Yesterday, the Hidalgo County Texas Sheriff's Department arrested a Mexican national, Gustavo Cruz-Lozano, on charges of making terroristic threats against Sheriff Lupe Treviño on July 25th of last year. At a House Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday, I questioned Attorney General Eric Holder about the Justice Department’s investigation into allegations that IRS employees intentionally targeted conservative organizations, including Tea Party-affiliated groups, for additional scrutiny in their applications for tax-exempt status.
Things are only getting worse for the Administration, but that's what they should expect when intentionally misleading the American people. Scandal after scandal is coming to light, and today Attorney General Eric Holder is testifying before the House Judiciary Committee, which I sit on.
