Hidalgo County Sheriff may have Killer of US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in Custody - Fast and Furious Update
As the debate of gun control crescendos across America, there are signs of a potentially major development in the murder case of US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Yesterday, the Hidalgo County Texas Sheriff's Department arrested a Mexican national, Gustavo Cruz-Lozano, on charges of making terroristic threats against Sheriff Lupe Treviño on July 25th of last year. My sources said that Cruz-Lozano has told the sheriff's investigators that he was the shooter in the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Related Topic: Guns don't kill people. Brian Terry - Two Years Later - Too Few Answers: Exclusive Interview with Kent Terry
Two years ago, a US Border Patrol BORTAC Team was responding to a sensor alert in the Peckwell/Rio Ricco sector of Southern Arizona. This region was known to have violent Mexican gangs known as RIP Crews. These RIP Crews would roam these mountains preying on other drug smugglers and human trafficking coyotes. Agent Brian Terry was a member of this elite BORTAC Team. Upon encountering the RIP Crew a gun battle ensued leaving Brian Terry dying in the desert sand and one of the bandit's wounded. Now, after two years of Congressional hearings and Department of Justice (DOJ) investigations, we know little more now than we did shortly after that night. Read more » Posted under:

Kudos to Jorge Ramos and His Questioning of President Obama
Monday night was the last presidential debate before election Day. It was in Boca Raton, FL and just as I had the opportunity to be in Denver, CO for the first debate, I traveled to Boca Raton to be with the people of Florida. In both states there was a large population of Hispanics watching the debates. They, like most Americans, are interested in an America with a better economy and more employment. One of my top priorities in Washington is making the government more open and transparent to the American people- whose tax dollars pay the bills in Washington. This week, I questioned top government oversight experts on the ways that we can make federal agencies more transparent.
Why is it that with all the talk of preventing gun violence with unconstitutional gun control directives, the president and his odious band of weapons dealers have not been called to account for their illegal arms shipments south of the border, or their giving of arms to al Qaeda resulting in the effective murder of U.S. diplomatic personnel in Libya?
With all of the talk about gun control coming from the left and particularly from
Many people believe the Government has been whittling away at Liberty and the rights of the people enshrined in the US Constitution for many years, especially since the attacks on our nation on 9-11-2001. Now the 2nd Amendment is coming directly into the cross-hairs of the Federal Government. Of course, this is a key step in overturning the rights of the people. A disarmed society is much easier to control. This month Senator Dianne Feinstein has taken the point on this issue by announcing a new gun-control bill to be introduced in the Senate during the 2013 session.

Nearly two years after U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered by a gang of Mexican thugs in the desert night of southeastern Arizona, the federal government has finally secured a conviction. Yesterday, Manuel Osorio-Arellanes, plead guilty to the murder but denied being the shooter.
Perhaps the most lawless act of the Obama Presidency has been its role in Operation Fast and Furious. The National Rifle Association (NRA) has been out front in keeping this story in the public's eye. While in Washington, DC, last month, I spoke with NRA Spokesperson Jacqueline Otto about Fast and Furious.
Fox News is reporting that two US Border Patrol Agents were shot this morning at the recently named Brian Terry Station near Naco, AZ. One of the agents was killed. The second was airlifted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to the ankle and buttocks.
