Mayor Annise Parker Takes Lavish Trips, Uses City Office to Stump for Obama

It has been learned through my own independent investigations that Mayor Annise Parker is taking extravagant and lavish trips, all while indirectly undermining the efforts of Council Member Helena Brown to gain Korean support for a direct Incheon-Houston flight, which means jobs and revenue for Houston. And the “media” has done nothing to expose the hypocrisy.

Here are a few examples:   Read more »

2009 Texas Conservative Review Houston Election Editorial

Update: Learn more about Elizabeth Perez, conservative candidate for Houston City Council Pos 2.

It's been said that all politics is local and city elections prove it. This is government closest to its citizens and it impacts all of our daily lives more than the State of Texas or the Federal Government combined. This is a good thing, because government closest to the people is most accountable to the people.   Read more »

Roy Morales is the only conservative in the Houston Mayoral Race!

On Tuesday, November 3rd, we will likely see a record LOW turnout! As conservatives, this is an opportunity to reclaim our city!

Make no mistake, conservatives can win this election, if we get out and vote!   Read more »

Let's Take Back America One Election At A Time

My friends, I am writing to you in order to give you an opportunity to personally have a hand in the battle to take back America, starting here at home, in the fourth largest city in the country, Houston, Texas. In 14 days (Nov. 3) Houston, Texas will be choosing a new mayor. There are 4 candidates, but only one conservative, Roy Morales. Roy is a very qualified candidate, has a tremendous vision for Houston, and will apply conservative principles to the many issues facing this city. A refreshing difference from the wacky lunacy and shocking proposals coming out of Washington!   Read more »

Why Roy Morales is the Right Candidate for Houston Mayor

The City of Houston is financially broke after having operating losses totaling $1.5 BILLION over the last five reported years. Those losses have been certified by the City's independent audit firm each year. See page 199 of the City's 2008 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) on the City's web site.   Read more »

What's That Sound?

If you have listened to the our local news media in Houston and the hum drum of the local politicos, the Houston Mayoral race seems to have all the appeal of paint drying. Many Republicans have simply abandoned the race to the Democrats without even a fight. Some Republicans have endorsed Democrats in this race, apparently for self serving reasons. Republicans, can you hear that sound? It’s the sound of your American Constitution being trampled! So WAKE UP!   Read more »

Texas GOP Vote Bloggers: Making a Difference?

On September 29, 2009, TexasGOPVote posted an article entitled, "Harris County Republicans Endorsing Democrats?" by Lauro Garza, commenting on the Harris County Republican Party (HCRP).

Mr. Garza pointed out that this party organization, represented by many local GOP elected officials, had all but abandoned the Houston Mayoral Race to the Democrats even though a well qualified GOP candidate was running a popular campaign. Three days later, Oct. 2, 2009, the HCRP Advisory committee finally endorsed Col. Roy Morales, the lone GOP candidate, for Houston Mayor.    Read more »

Harris County Republicans Endorsing Democrats?

David Jennings posted proof today that Beverly Kaufman, Harris County Clerk, has endorsed Democrat Gene Locke for Mayor of Houston. Astounding!

I have watched this activity grow for some months now. First, I saw Republican clubs inviting competing Democrats to speak at their forums. Then word came that the chairman of the Harris County Republican Party,
