The University of Houston played host to a public hearing by the Texas House/Senate Redistricting Committees on Saturday, November 20. Nearly 200 members of the public and a few concerned Members of Congress showed up to express their opinions about one of the most important activities of the upcoming legislative sessions. Redistricting will effect the boundaries of US Congressional Districts and those of the Texas House and Senate. It will also determine the placement of the four ADDITIONAL Congressional Seats Texas is expected to receive.
Good morning and welcome to election day in Harris County, Houston Texas. Today I will be traveling around the county visiting polling locations to let you see what is happening across the county. Many important issues are on the ballot. Will Fernando Herrera pull off upset victories over their well entrenched liberal incumbent opponents? Will Prop 1 go down the drain? What will happen with the poll watchers an 
I know the stealing of campaign signs happens all the time and both sides do it from time to time (although we ALL know Dems do it all the time and it is just the rare, overzealous Republican volunteers that might, maybe, well rarely, take the sign of an opposing candidate). But here we have a City of Houston Employee, driving an official city (green) vehicle, caught red handed stealing a John Faulk for Congress campaign sign while leaving other signs in place. 
Well folks, here we go! It's time to put our words into actions as Early Voting starts across Texas. From now through October 29th voters across Texas will go to the polls in Early Voting to put the last two years of words into the action of taking our country back. After early voting, the remaining voters will vote on November, 2nd to determine the fate of the elections.
Due to a practice started by an early Governor of Massachusetts, most of us will vote on November 2, but the truth is, most election outcomes are already mostly set concrete. Gov. As we enter the last leg of the campaigns leading up to the election it is TIME for us to get involved. Texas has a proven history of drawing a line in the sand to see what people are made of. It is time for you to draw a line in the sand and say NO MORE! You can make a difference in many of the races across Texas.
The Restoring Honor Rally is being held August 28th, 10am-1pm EST) in Washington, D.C. The rally is being held in order to recognize our First Amendment rights and honor the service members who fight to protect those freedoms.
