Vice President Joe Biden likes to cheer "Osama Bin Laden is Dead and GM is Alive!" But what he doesn't tell you is that since the illegal GM bankruptcy, President Barack Obama has been hard at work as the "Job-Exporter-in-Chief" moving thousands of high paying, middle-class, NON-UNION jobs to China. GM, the shining star on top of the Obama Re-Election "Winter Holiday Tree", is leaving town quickly and what's left is circling the drain.  

In talking with former GM employees, I learned Obama has been sending non-union jobs like product design, engineering and drafting jobs to China.

There have been 1954 U.S. soldiers killed so far in the Afghanistan war according to icasualties.

1324 of those Deaths have occurred in less than 3 1/2 years under Obama while only 630 of those deaths occurred in 8 years under George W. Bush.

WHY NO MEDIA OUTRAGE?

I remember when Bush was President the Liberal Media stations and news outlets had daily updates of the number of U.S. Soldiers killed with pictures and everything. Now It is almost hard to find out how many soldiers are dying every day because when a soldier dies now, it is not on the front page or sometimes not even reported at all.   Read more »

These are reflections from a recent trip to New York around Saint Patrick's Day.

Twice terrorists attacked the World Trade Center, the second being the attack on 9/11, but often forgotten is the first that occurred on February 26, 1993. That attack killed 6 people and injured a thousand more when an explosion erupted in a garage. The first attack was the first warning of what laid ahead. The 9/11 memorial venerates those who died in both attacks and reminds us of what happened so that this day should never be forgotten. When History is finally written about the Obama Administration, it may record how a President managed to lose two wars after inheriting one winning war and a strategy to win the other. Obama has one accomplishment, killing Osama Bin Laden, but that will be forgotten as American soldiers pull out amidst two countries in crisis and sacrifices made wasted with inept diplomacy abroad and a failure of the Obama Administration to make a case for his foreign policy at home. At the beginning of the GOP presidential debates, I may have agreed that any of the GOP presidential contenders would be better than Obama. But now that the GOP contenders have had an opportunity to speak on their own behalf, I have made some observations and have started the process of elimination.

This past week and weekend were filled with remembrances of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. While we of course recall the shock, outrage and sadness, we also remember the deeply felt patriotic unity among Americans that emerged immediately afterward.

The attacks briefly silenced the rhetoric and rants against America’s shortcomings, even among the ordinarily relentless critics in the Hard Left, because the terrorist attacks were utterly unjustified and indefensible. The contrast between America’s goodness, and the viciousness and senselessness of the attacks, reawakened the American conscience

One decade has passed, yet the incomprehensible evil of the September 11, 2001 attacks remain vividly etched in the memory of all Americans. We will never forget watching heroic first responders swiftly aid their fellow Americans. We will never forget joining families, friends and strangers alike in mourning the great loss of nearly 3,000 innocent lives. Although our nation was attacked, we refused to allow the unspeakable violence to break our spirit and the goodness of America shined brightly through one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.   Read more »

The following should be the rules of engagement for conservatives in winning in the 2012 elections.

First rule, know your opposition. Never use the word liberal, but insted use leftist in describing your opponents, "It is leftist congressman John Smith who stands for the following." The left's goal is to paint the conservative movement as the radical forces but the reality is 2 out of every 5 voters consider themselves conservative, and another 2 out of 5 consider themselves moderates.

There is one word to describe Obama’s foreign policy, incomprehensible. No one can truly make sense of this policy other than to say, if it is the wrong move, it will be done. Case in point, Libya. Obama procrastinated when Gaddafi was on the rope and this delay allowed the Libyan dictator to regroup and consolidate his advantages over the Rebel forces. When Representative Peter King began his hearings on the radicalization of black American Muslims by extremist Muslims in March, Houston activist Quanell X (Houston based Leader of the New Black Panther Party) and I debated the issue on Houston's Fox 26 News. After a lively exchange during the broadcast segment, Quanell X, Fox's Tom Zizka and I had an opportunity to continue in more depth the discussion we started on TV.
