Congressman Neugebauer Votes to Balance Budget and Increase Opportunities for West Texans

I voted to pass the House Republican budget, The Path to Prosperity, developed by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan. This legislation will reduce spending by $4.6 trillion and balances the federal budget in ten years.

This budget not only reins in government spending, but it does so while strengthening our safety net and kick-starting the economy. It simplifies the tax code, preserves Medicare for current seniors, reforms it for future generations, and repeals Obamacare.   Read more »

Balancing the Budget to Grow our Economy

This week, I’ll be voting to support the House Republican plan to balance our federal budget in ten years. House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan and the members of his committee have created a plan to rein in government spending, ensure a secure retirement for our seniors, and preserve opportunities for all Americans.

Not only is this plan the most responsible way forward, but it’s the only effort being made in Washington to balance the budget.   Read more »

Congressman Sessions on the Require a Plan Act

This week, the House once again took action to address our nation’s debt crisis. On Wednesday, we passed the Require a PLAN Act, a bill that calls on the President to submit a budget plan that achieves balance.

Under the President’s policies, our budget deficits have exceeded a trillion dollars – despite his promise to cut the federal deficit in half by the end of his first term. I believe that if we do not reverse this course immediately, we will harm generations of Texans to come.

Texas Republicans Should Join in Immigration Reform

Co-written by Eduardo Aguirre

Mitt Romney's defeat in the 2012 presidential election has been met by many Republicans as a challenge. If they hope to regain the White House, the party must address important issues for America's rapidly growing Hispanic population. That is particularly true when it comes to immigration matters, where Romney staked positions

Help Romney Restore America

It occurred to me that some could think that after I consistently opposed Mitt Romney throughout the primaries, supporting Gingrich, I might have receded from the scene because I would not support Romney. Particularly with the election now within a few weeks, I should emphatically say that nothing could be further from the truth. I have had other distractions, but have mainly been dealing with medical issues. But, I’m backing Romney 100%.

What Can I Do?

As our “mother of all elections” nears, it is our right—no, it is our duty, to do all we can to get this bunch of Chicago-mob-educated crooks moved from Washington, D.C. to Leavenworth, Kansas.

Many ask, “What can I do to help?” Here are seven quick suggestions. Don’t do all—but pick at least one.

First, set the internet and social media worlds ablaze with your original thoughts and with those you find

Romney/Ryan: The Right Ticket - Part 1

“My promise is to help you and your family.”
Mitt Romney's acceptance speech

There is absolutely nothing like experiencing the Republican National Convention in person. It was an eye opener for me as this was my first time to attend. Seeing and hearing Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney was electrifying. The excitement of the crowds was like an aphrodisiac making it so easy to fall in love with the speakers. We were in a stadium with like-minded, patriotic Americans all wanting America to survive.

Regardless of our differences, we are still one, united to abandon the Obama Administration. Romney and Ryan are great family role models. Their experience, enthusiasm and love for God and America will lead us to a moral society. In a moral society we can achieve our conservative goals.

Pro-Immigration Group Endorses Mitt Romney - Paul Ryan Ticket for President and Vice President

As the newly appointed Texas Director of Cafe Con Leche Republicans (CCLR), I am happy to announce our group's endorsement of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to be the next President and Vice President of the United States. This summer, Republicans have taken important steps to finding solutions to our broken immigration system through the adoption of pro-immigration reform planks in both the Texas and National Republican Platforms. Electing Romney/Ryan in November is a key step towards solving a system which has created chaos along our borders and encourages lawless behavior.   Read more »

Passion to Improve America Was on Full Display as VP Nominee Paul Ryan Took Stag at GOP National Convention

Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan was clearly the big draw at tonight's convention. Congressman Ryan hit hard for the future of this country by clearly laying out how he and Mitt Romney would tackle the tough issues that are bankrupting our country. In doing so, Paul Ryan utilized both his young family and his mother to hit home that his reforms would bring "opportunity for the young and security for the old."
