(Notes: I am not making any endorsements or will I spend time in this piece to dissect weakness of candidates. There is more than enough time to do this. My purpose is to point out that Republicans have a strong list of candidates.)

For the last few months I expressed and then proved how isolationist types in the GOP, which I dubbed “crypto-libertarians” (because they bristle at being identified as anything libertarian) have infiltrated or, perhaps, developed within the GOP and have attempted redefinition of isolationism/protectionism as conservatism.
