Well it's official, last night Governor Mitt Romney accepted his party's nomination to be the 45th President of the United States. The last night of the convention was all about his vision for America and how the policies he would advance differ from the failed policies of President Obama, which have resulted in forty-two months of unemployment above 8%!
Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan was clearly the big draw at tonight's convention. Congressman Ryan hit hard for the future of this country by clearly laying out how he and Mitt Romney would tackle the tough issues that are bankrupting our country. This declaration was drowned out by loud booing. Also, before John Boehner called for the vote, he asked if there were any objections and there were clearly people who objected and yet John Boehner said there were none.
Tuesday was an incredible day for Texas Republicans attending the party’s national convention in Tampa, Florida. Texas’ newly elected U.S. Senate Candidate Ted Cruz delivered a spectacular keynote speech--without using a teleprompter or a podium! Texas delegates rose to our feet and completed his sentence about our iconic heritage telling the Mexican general at the Battle of Gonzales who demanded return
Tuesday night featured many prominent conservative women and minorities, counteracting the liberal message of division. While the Democrat Party loves to set us against each other, the Republican Party focused on a theme of "We Built It". We as Americans, regardless of race or gender, have worked hard to build a better America. The RNC's opening illustrated how any one of us can succeed through hard work
