Texas GOP Vote

Two activists, Lianne Russell and Tanya A. Robertson, walked into the Harris County Elections Division (Houston, TX) last week and were given ACTUAL ballots when they only asked for Mail In Ballot Applications. They were given these ballots without even being asked to show a photo ID or proof of identity!

It gets worse, the hosting entity (Clear Creek ISD) is the School District that will benefit from their own election. They handle their own ballots, count their ballots, and police their election.

A simple mistake? Even if it was, it still goes to show the importance of having measures in place to prevent voter fraud and to protect ballot integrity.

Louisiana Congressman Charles Boustany, M.D. made waves this week after publicly criticizing voter registration functions in Obamacare application drafts – leading to an emerging debate as to whether such options should be available in the 60-plus-page form. We all agree that it’s time that dead people in San Antonio and elsewhere in Texas stop voting. Weston Martinez has become synonymous with stomping out Voter Fraud in San Antonio. I spoke to Weston on March 3, 2013 in order to get an update on the Voter Fraud bill that I knew he was working on.

Texas has a Vote Poaching problem. Ballots and votes are being stolen. Voter Fraud is real. State Senator Donna Campbell has filed a bill (SB 554) to stop the voter fraud and to stop dead people from voting in San Antonio, TX.

San Antonio, TX seems to be ground zero for this problem. Texas Conservative Republican Hispanic Weston Martinez uncovered just the tip of an iceberg last year.

Millions of Americans were stunned after watching Hamilton County, Ohio voter and Organizing for America volunteer Melowese Richardson proudly admit to casting multiple ballots for President Barack Obama. Recently surfaced emails expose how Organizing for America worked to monitor and block any possibility of a citizen volunteer catching others like Ms. Richardson in the act.

Throughout 2012, whenever I was asked if we would win in November, my answer was consistently, “We will win if we can overcome voter fraud.” I just could not comprehend that the American people would willingly allow the current administration to continue in dismantling our Republic, piece by piece. When Texans think of Voter Fraud, it’s hard not to think about the 200 ballots found in Jim Wells County giving Lyndon Johnson victory over his Republican opponent for the senate seat in 1948. Texas has a history of Voter Fraud, no doubt about it. Voter Fraud is one reason that some believe we lost the 2012 presidential election. Thinking that there is Voter Fraud is one thing and proving that there is Voter Fraud is quite another. I also believe that in some cases it probably does not affect the outcome of the race but every effort should be made to keep the integrity of the vote.   Read more »

With every passing day, the math coming out of St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker’s office becomes more and more fuzzy.

On Sunday the St. Lucie Supervisor of Elections conducted a partial recount of early voting. As a result of that count, the total number of votes dropped by 799. Then on Monday the Supervisor of Elections explained the drop by saying 3,650 votes were double counted

Florida U.S. Congressman Allen West, a strong Tea Party supported conservative Republican has fought some hard battles in his life, as a U.S. Army officer in combat zones including in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and later in Afghanistan. His awards for brave, valorous and meritorious service are too many to mention. Congressman West’s bravery extends beyond the battlefield: as an African-American Republican he stands strong for conservative principles in the face of relentless attacks by Democrats and liberal organizations and officials.

UPDATE:  The Harris County Republican Party won its lawsuit filed by Rep. County Attorney Candidate Robert Talton on behalf of the Party.  Talton serves as legal counsel for the party.  The judge granted the TRO requested by the Party within about three hours.

Early today TexasGOPVote posted a story by Brandon Darby about the abuses taking place by Democrat Election Officials in Harris County, Texas. The violations included a near take-over of a polling location by members of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People). Incidents were so blatant that the NAACP members were actually moving people forward in line to vote ahead of other voters.    Read more »
