Donna Detamore

Donna Detamore is the Republican Candidate for Judge of the 311th Family Court, Harris County, Texas. Family Law Court (the "Divorce Court") is the only Court where in a single lawsuit, you can lose your spouse, your children, your property and your liberty (for non-compliance with a Court order or non-payment of child support).

Detamore attended Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law and has been honored with the Texas Legislator's Grant and as a representative for Women in the Law National Convention.

Donna has been in Private Practice for Family Law since 1978 and has been on the Family Law Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1983.

Detamore has been in practice for over 25 years and has been Board Certified in Family law for 20 years (which is the earliest an attorney can become board certified as a specialist). She is rated "BV" (very high legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the Bar) by the U.S. lawyer directory, Martindale-Hubbell.

Detamore is involved in numerous political organizations, some of which include the National Federation of Republic Women, Republican Leadership Council, Harris County Republican Party, Houston Professional Republican Women, Republican National Hispanic Assembly, Southwest Republican Women, Campaign Chair for the John Culberson Campaign, and Daughters of Liberty.
