Pete Sessions is the U.S. Representative for the 32nd Congressional District of Texas.

A conservative community leader, United States Congressman Pete Sessions has combined hard work, innovative thinking, and common-sense principles to build a successful congressional career.

Congressman Sessions was born on March 22, 1955 and grew up in Waco, Texas. He graduated from Southwestern University in 1978 and went on to work for then-Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 16 years, retiring as District Manager for Marketing in Dallas.

Republican Nominee for State Representative
David Simpson became the Republican nominee for State Representative of House District 7 after defeating Rep. Tommy Merritt, a seven term incumbent, in the March Republican primary. District 7 is comprised of Gregg County and northern Smith County and includes the cities of Longview, Kilgore, White Oak, Gladewater, Liberty City, Lindale, Hideaway and Winona. Featured Voice of the Texas GOP: Barbara Nash

Barbara Nash is the newly elected State Representative for House District 93, ousting Democratic incumbent Paula Pierson.

Barbara Nash grew up in Fort Worth and has resided in Arlington for nearly forty years. Presently, she is self-employed in Real Estate investing. Barbara became a Certified Paralegal in 2001. Formerly, Ms. Nash was elected to the Arlington City Council and Arlington ISD Board of Trustees, and she served as President, Vice President, and as a member for 25 years in the Arlington PTA.

Cindy Burkett is the newly elected State Representative for House District 101, ousting Democratic incumbent Robert Miklos.

Cindy and her husband, Air Force veteran and software developer Mike Burkett, were high school sweethearts. Thirty-four years of marriage, three children and now three grandchildren later, they still love and “like” each other. Their family is just like yours. They’ve lived through the same ups and downs. Sarah Davis is the newly elected State Representative for House District 134, ousting Democratic incumbent Ellen Cohen.

Sarah graduated from John Foster Dulles High School in Sugar Land in 1994. In college, she was a member of the Baylor University debate team. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Baylor in 1998, she went on to earn her Law Degree from the University of Houston in 2001.

Sarah is an accomplished and successful attorney devoting her career to defending against personal injury lawsuits. She is a partner with the national law firm of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP. Sarah's clients include individuals, local businesses, and Fortune 500 companies. Stefani Cater is the newly elected State Representative for House District 102, ousting Democratic incumbent Carol Kent.

Stefani came from a little house on Bernardin Circle in Dallas and has been doing great things for our community her entire life. But things were not always easy. Blake Farenthold is the newly elected U.S. Representative for the 27th Congressional District of Texas, kicking out longtime Democratic Representative Solomon Ortiz by fewer than 800 votes. Solomon Ortiz had been Congressman since 1983.
