Obama's Grandmother to Saudi Newspaper "prayed for my grandson Barack to convert to Islam"

Obama's Muslim step-grandmother, Haja Sarah Omar, on invitation by the Saudi king, took a recent hajj pilgrimage to Mecca along with her son and grandchildren. In an interview with a Saudi newspaper, she "prayed for my grandson Barack to convert to Islam."

New York Daily News reports:

Despite her desire to see her grandson reject Christianity in favor of the Muslim faith, Omar refused to talk politics, much less rate Obama's performance as the leader of the free world.

When asked whether Obama would be reelected for a second term, Omar said, "Allah alone knows, it is a matter of the unknown future."

Ever since the beginning of his presidency, Obama has been trying to prove that he is a Christian, although according to a Pew Research Center poll, only 34% of those surveyed identified him as a Christian and 18% identified him as a Muslim.
