(VIDEO) Sheila Jackson Lee (TX-18) Says Repealing Health Care is Unconstitutional

Although the House recently voted 245-189 for HR 2, 'Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law,' it is still humorous to watch Sheila Jackson Lee's (CD-18) attempt to prove that the health care reform bill itself wasn't unconstitutional, but rather the act of repealing the health care bill is unconstitutional.

"The Fifth Amendment speaks specifically to denying someone their life and liberty without due process...
"Can you tell me what is more unconstitutional than taking away from the people of America their 5th Amendment rights, their Fourteenth Amendment rights, and the right to equal protection under the law? Today we stand before this body, we beg of them, to ask themselves whether this is all about politics or about the American people. I'm prepared to stand, extend a hand of friendship, standing on the Constitution to enable us to provide all of the citizens of this country… This [health care reform] bill is constitutional, and it protects the constitutional rights of those who ask the question, 'Must I die, must my child die because I am now disallowed from getting insurance?'
Texas, a big state, has already said, through a governmental agency, 'We need this bill, and we hope that those who come from our state and many other states will not vote against the protection of patients. Vote against HR 2, and provide yourself with the protection of the Constitution.

So repealing the health care bill is unconstitutional because people will die otherwise? And the majority of Texans absolutely do NOT want health care reform! What is she thinking?
