Dianne Costa on Obama jobs performance: "More Stimuli? Washington, get ready for stimulus called Election of 2012"

Following last night's Republican Presidential Debate, the recurring theme that came up, and a topic we know is on top of the minds of all Americans, is jobs. Tonight, President Obama will compete with the New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers NFL pregame show by addressing a Joint Session of Congress to discuss his jobs and growth package expected to cost over $400 billion. However, Republicans like former mayor and Texas CD-25 candidate Dianne Costa are critical of yet more government intervention and spending, especially in the wake of zero jobs growth in August and Obama's ongoing economic malaise.  If this sounds like yet another stimulus package that's bound to fail, don't be fooled, the word "stimulus" no longer exists in the Democrats' vocabulary:

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and House Democrats have dropped the word "stimulus" from their vocabulary.
Though the House minority leader and her caucus are still pushing an economic stimulus agenda to save the economy, they’ve radically changed their rhetoric with the hope of winning over voters who saw "stimulus" as close to a dirty word.

Recently, at a CD-25 Candidate Meet and Greet hosted by the Coryell County GOP, I spoke with Texas State Representative Sid Miller.  He reiterated the importance of job creation and getting Americans back to work.  I later spoke with Candidate and former Mayor Dianne Costa and asked her what she thought of President Obama's anticipated job speech and potential new stimulus plans. Her recent blog post on job creation covers this issue well.

Dianne Costa, Candidate for Texas CD-25, states:

More stimuli? Didn’t spend enough money? Get ready, there is a stimulus coming up to Washington. It will do a 180 and change the direction of our country. Jobs will be created once again by the private sector, we'll have real spending reductions, and a balanced budget like we practice in our businesses and our homes.
What do we call this stimulus? THE ELECTION OF 2012, where we put a true Commander in Chief at the helm, vote in a strong sensible Senate and bolster our control of Congress.

CD-25 Candidate and former Mayor Dianne Costa discusses job creation with political analyst Bob Price

Next week, I will publish a series of discussions I had with Mayor Costa and her qualifications to be the next Congresswoman from Texas' 25th Congressional District. We also discussed other value based issues important not only to her, but to the people of Texas. Come back Monday and follow this discussion.

President Obama has proven, as former Gov. Mit Romney said in last night's presidential candidate debate, that he hasn't got a clue about how to create jobs. Today, the FBI raided one of the President's iconic "Green Jobs" recipients, Solyndra, which received nearly a half BILLION dollars in job stimulus funds from the Obama Administration and then filed bankruptcy earlier this week.

Obama's Stimulus Plan Creates Jobs - FOR FBI AGENTS!

Is Obama going to take any credit for August's abysmal job report, showing a monthly net job change of zero for the first time in over 65 years? Or will he continue to blame Bush, or the newest favorite scapegoat, House Republicans?  Or perhaps Obama will finally look for help in a 12-step program, and, as Dianne Costa suggests, start by saying, "Hi, my name is Barack Obama and I haven't a clue of what I'm doing."
