Obama the Schizophrenic and His War On Libya and Gaddafi - Sharia Law Implemented - Gaddafi Killed - Warning Graphic

"He is someone I consider a friend. He knows he is a son of Africa. Regardless of his African belonging, he is of Arab Sudanese descent, or of Muslim descent. He is a man whose policy should be supported, and he should be assisted in implementing it in any way possible, since he is now leaning towards peace." - Muammar Gaddafi talking about Obama

While we struggle with the GOP presidential candidates, the ridiculous idea of a Super Committee and the disastrous Occupy Wall Street protesters…the world continues to turn. The turmoil in the Middle East and what happened in Libya should give us pause. Trying to understand the conditions in each Arab and Muslim country is mindboggling and our minds might even retreat in denial. It is even more difficult to decipher with the type of commander in chief that presently occupies the White House. I think it is important that we make an effort to understand what is occurring in these Muslim countries because of the inevitable impact to the US. I have seen Muammar Gaddafi’s name spelled many different ways. I will use Gaddafi to avoid confusion.

In my search to bring you accurate information, and because there has been so much discussion on the war with Libya, I visited Professor Jeffery Addicott at St. Mary’s Law School where he is the director of the Center for Terrorism Law. What I basically wanted to know was how killing Muammar Gaddafi was going to affect America since there are varying stories. There is no question that Gaddafi violated human rights on his people while calling Obama a ‘friend’.

It was not too long ago, on March 17, that Obama claimed he decided to enter Libya. He surprised us when he announced this while in Brazil and that he had called for ‘limited’ strikes on Libya. Obama spent time trying to explain to us why he was going to Libya. It was a humanitarian gesture, he first said, to protect the citizens of Libya. This explanation was followed by other excuses. In June the House voted against air support to Libya. The House could not have been clearer by voting on ‘Authorizing the limited use of the United States Armed Forces in support of the NATO mission in Libya’, 295 against – 123 for. Needless to say NO is not a familiar word to Obama unless he says NO to the American public.

This is how Professor Addicott answered:

Apart from the hypocrisy associated with the way in which the war in Libya was waged – Obama indicated that we were not taking sides and that NATO was leading the effort – the real question vis a vis U.S. national security interests, is what will Libya look like one year from now. In my opinion, it will be worse rather than better. The future on the ground will unfold in one of two ways: (1) The country will split apart into factions based on tribal lines or (2) radical Islam will take charge. I would think that the second is more likely. A radical Libya will be worse than a Libya under Qaddafi for American interests. Under Qaddafi, the radical Islamic forces were contained to a degree. Under the new Libya they will not be.

Of course because Obama is our Commander in Chief, according to Professor Addicott it was lawful with or without Congress’s approval that we went to war. Then on October 20th, the news came that Gaddafi had been brutally murdered by his own people. Had Obama ordered the death of Gaddafi it would have been perfectly legal because of the Law of War, this also from Professor Addicott. He continued to tell me that 85% of the money came from America and so did the supplies, the planning and the strategy used to find and kill him. Obama claimed that it was not war when in fact it was. Addicott commented that Obama gave no afterthought to the consequences of the war with Libya. He also commented that Obama may be schizophrenic. Obama definitely has disorganized speech as he cannot be without his teleprompter, and we all know how he contradicts himself.

Further on my visit with Jeffery Addicott he told me that The War Powers Act in his opinion is not constitutional. What Addicott did say was that Obama had not been altogether truthful to the American people. Now that statement was NOT a surprise. He enumerated his position.

  1. Obama did not articulate why we were going to war
  2. Obama provided contradictory statements that were not true such as that US was not taking sides and it was to protect civilians.
  3. and Obama told us that NATO was leading the offense (war)

Since Gaddafi’s murder, Libyan Transitional National Council (TNC) leader, Mustafa Abdul-Jalil has implemented Sharia Law to rule legislation. On November 17th, the Muslim Brotherhood held its first conference on Libyan soil since they were banned decades ago. Professor Addicott’s prediction may well come true. It is suspected that religious groups will go against secular groups and because the Muslim Brotherhood has organized Islamic leaders compared to the leaders of the bloody civil war, the Muslim Brotherhood will take command. As of today, November 18, 2011, Libya’s standing in the United Nations Human Rights Council has been restored. We can only wait and see how Libya leaders will treat women but with Sharia Law in place it is doubtful women will have a favorable outcome. The Libyan people may find themselves in a worse situation than with Muammar Gaddafi.
