Glenn Beck Questions Debra Medina About Being A 9/11 Truther

In an interview with Glenn Beck this morning, Debra Medina is asked whether she is a 9/11 truther to which she cannot give a straight answer:

Ok, her politician answer was that she didn’t have enough proof to take a side on whether or not the government had anything to do with causing the twin towers to fall. Really? How in the hell do you not take a side on that issue? I mean, you are running for the governor of Texas, and you still don’t know whether or not Osama Bin Laden ordered the attack on the twin towers? You don’t have all of the evidence?
Beck is not necessarily a fan of Rick Perry, but after the interview Beck changes his mind a bit:
“Rick I think you and I could french kiss right now!”

Debra Medina gave this statement after her interview regarding the 9/11 truther question:

I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way. No one can deny that the events on 9/11 were a tragedy for all Americans and especially those families who lost loved ones.
The question surprised me because it’s not relevant to this race or the issues facing Texans. This campaign has always been about private property rights and state sovereignty. It is focused on the issues facing Texans. It is not a vehicle for the 9-11 truth movement or any other group.
The real underlying question here, though, is whether or not people have the right to question our government. I think the fact that people are even asking questions on this level gets to the incredible distrust career politicians have fostered by so clearly taking their direction from special interests instead of the people, whether it’s Rick Perry and his HPV mandate or Kay Hutchison and voting for the bank bailout. It is absolutely the right and duty of a free people to question their government. Texas does not need another politician who tells you what you want to hear, then violates your liberties and steals your property anyway. I fully expect to be questioned and to be held accountable as Governor, and that’s the underlying issue here: should people be questioning their government. And the answer is yes, they should be.

I have said before that crypto-libertarianism is not real Libertarianism, nor is it Republicanism, no matter how hard they scream it or hurl insults at those who disagree.  What is; however, true is they are a peculiar coalition of Ron Paulistas (wacky on their own), LaRouche types, bigots and other government conspiracy theorists.  The more they talk the more they expose themselves.  They believe in global conspiracies fomented by radio talk show host Alex Jones.  Their theories range from bizarre to so wacky they make UFO abductions seem believable by comparison!

Mrs. Medina, a crypto-libertarian, seems to have exposed herself as one of the 9/11 conspiracy theorists and further entrenches herself among the crypto-libertarians but still insists she is a Republican and a conservative.  She is neither.

Is Beck buddies with Rick or Kay?  It was a total blindside by Beck.

That was a valid question. And if she was to be elected she should be able to answer all kinds of questions that would be thrown at her. She would have to be able to think on her feet and I am not sure that she could. Yes you would need time to consider some of your more major problems or issues but that isn't a question that she should of needed prep for. I think she just validated why I wont even consider voting for her anymore.

Please see this article which chronicle's Mrs. Medina's appearance on the Alex Jones radio show and her "buy in" to the wacky "global-corporatist-financial-secret society-Bilderberger-illuminati-shadow people" conspiracy theory.  They, Medina and Jones, discuss how the conspiracy is not only in Washington & Wall Street but also here in Texas!

But wait! There's more!  In a video Alex Jones rambles on & on, railing against the Republican Party and its leadership while touting the Ron Paul and Debra Medina.  Jones reports, with dubious credentials, that all Republicans are "Neo-cons" (how many people have called me that here?) and "corporate whores" who have sold out to the "global elite" and "private banks."  Get the point?  Debra Medina, is not a Republican and not a conservative, otherwise she'd be a "Neo-con" like most real Republicans and her mentor, Ron Paul, and his followers would have long since turned their backs on her.

You may recall I mentioned that this crypto-libertarian movement had consolidated in the Tea Parties,  now Jones points out how that leadership is now under assault by the opposition he so strongly warns us all against, thus, proving my analysis.  In fact, all the analyses thus far submitted has been proven up.

the republican party is defined by its PLATFORM!!!!  which i doubt perry has even read (or you its sounds like).  medina has and supports not just the republican texas platform but many many county republican platforms- many of which support the idea of  no property tax.  this is nothing.  see you at the tx republican convention- cuz there will be more to this grassroots takeover of the republican party.  we are taking it back from the neo cons- we are ready- more than in 08!!

Thanks for the confirmation that you crypto-libertarians are determined to "take over" the Republican Party as I have asserted these past 9 months.  I exposed this movement and was insulted for it but now you all have proven me correct.  Thanks, by the way, for calling me a "Neo-Con" which one, proves, I am a real Republican, and two, proves you are a crypto-libertarian like Mrs. Medina.  Oh, and don't forget the "global elite" are storing non-hybrid seeds above the artic circle...be sure to buy that non-genetically altered survival seed bank from Alex Jones....hurry...they're going fast.

I'm just a little curious why none of this 9/11 truther stuff came out in either debate. Surely the media was aware of this stuff. Were they sitting on it hoping she'd pull ahead of Perry and Hutch and then spring it on her at the last moment, giving the Dems the win?

OK, maybe that's a bit too "conspiracy" wacko for some on here but.... hey, Dan Rather wasn't above that sort of dirty trickery to affect an election, so maybe.....
