Romney/Ryan: The Right Ticket - Part 1

“My promise is to help you and your family.”
Mitt Romney's acceptance speech

There is absolutely nothing like experiencing the Republican National Convention in person. It was an eye opener for me as this was my first time to attend. Seeing and hearing Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney was electrifying. The excitement of the crowds was like an aphrodisiac making it so easy to fall in love with the speakers. We were in a stadium with like-minded, patriotic Americans all wanting America to survive.

Regardless of our differences, we are still one, united to abandon the Obama Administration. Romney and Ryan are great family role models. Their experience, enthusiasm and love for God and America will lead us to a moral society. In a moral society we can achieve our conservative goals.

“Fear and division is all they have left.”
“Why would the next four years be any different from the last four years?”
“That money was borrowed, spent and wasted.”

Paul Ryan spoke August 29th on Wednesday night and the people loved him. He told us that he was honored to be the nominee as our vice president. His message conveyed that we must elect Mitt Romney and remove Obama from office. Romney is the man for the job he said.

He also spoke about his family in Janesville, Wisconsin. He introduced his best friend and wife Janna, their daughter Liza and their boys Charlie and Sam. Ryan also introduced his 78-year-old mom Betty who lives in Florida. From where I was sitting, I can tell you they portray a happy family. I totally loved the fact that he had his mom on stage with him; it was so grand to see this.

Ryan brought out the fact that there are 23 million people unemployed or underemployed, one in six Americans is in poverty. Our graduates are having a difficult time finding jobs. This is happening now, today. Imagine if Hussein is reelected. I shudder to think.

The tone of his voice changed when he spoke about Medicare and how Obama has taken money from Medicare to fund ObamaCare. Ryan promises to protect Medicare for future generations. The Obama Administration needed more so they took it all from Medicare, 716 billion dollars to pay for a new entitlement we did not ask for. Romney also mentions this fact in his speech.

“Medicare is a promise and we will honor it.”
“We want this debate and we will win this debate.”
We suffered no shortage of words from the WH, what is missing is leadership from the White House.”

Together we can do this! Ryan’s statement resonated loud and clear.

“It’s time for someone else to come along and solve the problem.”
“Biden is the intellect of the Democrat Party.”
“Time for a businessman, a stellar business man, so just step aside.”
“You, we own this country.”
“Politicians are employees of ours.”
“When someone does not do the job we gotta let them go.”

When Clint Eastwood walked onto the stage on Thursday evening everyone enjoyed the Eastwood cowboy that flashed on to the big screen behind him. It was rather an interesting speech as I had to ask Bill, ‘Did he really say that’? Bill said, “He did.” Eastwood connected with the audience because he spoke the truth about Obama. It was music to my ears to hear a ‘Hollywood’ character speak about the reality of Hussein.

Monday was National Empty Chair Day so here is my contribution. This day rose from the empty chair that Eastwood had on stage. Just so you know from where we were sitting, we never saw the chair.

It’s time for Obama to get off the fence and let someone lead America back to its principles.

Mitt Romney stood on stage and addressed the delegates on Thursday evening about 10pm, August 30 and received a rousing welcome. About 10 minutes into his speech, he mentioned that his father was born in Mexico and they came over during the Mexican Revolution. At this precise moment I connected with Romney. My grandfather brought his family over to America during the Mexican Revolution. I knew then that Romney understands what it means to be free. He also understands what it takes to become a successful businessman.

As far as I am concerned, he is the right man for the job. His vision for America is the vision I want for my children and grandchildren, freedom of religion, freedom to work and become successful. He believes in the American people and their creative ability to achieve. Romney has five steps to bring America back. Listen to his speech to better understand his position for America.

It was very apparent that Romney is working to attract women to his camp. The truth is he really believes in women. He explained how he hired women on his staff when he was Governor of Massachusetts and it is obvious he respects Ann as the mother of his children.

Are you better off today? He asked.

“To the majority of Americans who now believe that the future will not be better than the past, I can guarantee you this, If Barack Obama is reelected, you’ll be right.”
“My promise is to help you and your family.”

There may be many of you who are skeptics, and I don’t blame any of you. Most of us are awake now and understand that we must evermore be vigilant. Romney may not have been our first choice but he is our nominee and if we do not support Romney we will have four more years of Hussein. Four more years of the present administration will doom America forever. I truly believe this. Just look at the 47% of Americans that are on food stamps, Medicaid, unemployment, subsidized housing, or cash welfare. The entitlement mentality has to be stopped. Without jobs our country is lost. Without a moral society our souls are lost. If Obama is reelected we will be enslaved by the entitlements and the moral decay we are presently experiencing. We must return to our conservative values in order to regain our freedom.
