Donna Campbell: U.S. Representative Candidate (TX-25)

I am Dr. Donna Campbell and I'm running for Congress to limit federal government to the bounds of the U.S. Constitution as written—not as interpreted. This will shrink the national debt and restore governing power to the states.

 Increasingly upset about the eroding power of the states to govern, and the increasing power that Washington is amassing over our daily lives, I looked around the room for someone to stand up and reverse the rising tide of socialism .... and stopped after glancing in the mirror.

Having won my March primary with nearly 70 percent of the vote, my team and I are working to unseat ultra-liberal Lloyd Doggett so Central Texans can finally have the conservative representation they deserve!

In the U.S. House of Representatives, I'll work to reform the broken federal tax system, and I'll fight to lift burdensome regulations to create jobs for Texas and the nation.

• I'm strong on immigration law enforcement and national defense (which are interlinked), and I'll hold spending in check so our children and grandchildren aren't saddled with crushing debt. 

• An E.R. doctor, wife and adoptive mother concerned about the nation’s future for our children and those yet to be born, I will fight to make adoption easier to help more pregnant women commit to giving birth.  

• I feel the Second Amendment is very clear: We Texans have the right to keep and bear arms!
