Conservative Featured Voice: Raul Torres

Raul Torres is the Republican nominee for House District 33, located in the heart of Corpus Christi, Texas. Torres grew up in Nueces County, where he attended Ray High School and later Del Mar College.
It was at Del Mar that Raul met his wife, Gina, and they have been happily married for 35 years. Together, they have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Raul wanted a better life for his family, so he enrolled in the MBA program at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, where he graduated in 1994.
Raul is the owner of Raul Torres, CPA, a full service accounting and financial services firm. In addition, he became president of Freedom Tax Services, Inc. and owns a Liberty Tax franchise.
Raul is active in community organizations throughout Corpus Christi. He served on the Loan Review Board and the Traffic Advisory Board for the City of Corpus Christi. He sponsored several youth sports programs, school booster clubs, and is a member of the Brawner Parkway Church of Christ.
